What are clickable timestamps?
When you use the Podpage Audio Player, any timestamps that appear in your episode chapters or transcripts automatically become clickable links. When a listener clicks one, the player jumps straight to that moment in the episode.
Why do I need the Podpage Audio Player?
Clickable timestamps only work with the Podpage Audio Player. If you're using your podcast host's embedded player, we can't control playback on those players individually — so timestamps will appear as plain text instead of clickable links.
Switching to the Podpage Audio Player unlocks this feature for every episode on your site.
How to turn it on
- Go to Episodes in your dashboard.
- Click Settings at the top.
- Turn on Use Podpage Audio Player.
- Save your changes.
Once enabled, any timestamps in your chapters and transcripts will automatically become clickable and advance the player to the right spot.
Tip: If your chapters or transcript already include timestamps, they'll linkify immediately after you switch players — no extra steps needed.
