The best software is the software that JUST WORKS. For the last 15 years of my life, I’ve gone to bed wondering what’s going to break in one of our many WordPress installs. Not the case with Podpage - and that’s the point. Don’t get me wrong, it’s amazingly cool, but it’s the combo of worry-free and amazingly cool that makes this so special.
Podpage is exactly what a podcaster needs. It makes adding new episodes, creating SEO value, and hosting your own content SO easy. When we are all figuring out how to engage beyond the RSS feed, this should be your first step. There are already so many features and customizations and I can't wait to see (and be a part) of the platform's growth.

Building my podcast website had a near-permanent place in my to-do list before Podpage & thankfully I could finally do the honors of checking that off! It turns out I'd been making things difficult for myself by swearing I'd learn how to master Wordpress in order to launch a working site. Starting out as a podcaster, I wanted everything in one place for my guests and viewers. I had built my own systems using other platforms, and while they worked, managing the backend felt complicated.
After seeing Podpage on Threads and Instagram, I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did. What really made a difference for me was the support from Dave. Getting on a Google Meet with him provided the customer service I needed to resolve my issue quickly.

The best way to develop a professional podcast website
At first, I tried using WordPress to build a website for our podcast (Live Well and Flourish). Although I could do it, the work to maintain it was more than I had time to do. Then I discovered Podpage. It is simple to set up a great looking, easy to navigate website. After it's set up, everything is more or less on autopilot. The only time I do any maintenance is when Podpage rolls out a new feature that looks useful to me. Really, you can't go wrong with Podpage.

What's more, when I email them for support, they almost always get back to me promptly. I've encountered a few issues and, especially after upgrading, discovered a plethora of easy-to-use features that align perfectly with the needs of our show. In a matter of hours I had (imho) a fine looking website for my podcast up and running. Within a few hours of that the team at Podpage had tweaked the template to accommodate a small change I requested. A day later I was in an online meeting with their support folks to assist with navigating the arcane workings of my domain host... even though it was definitely not Podpage's problem. We were using WordPress for our podcast webpage before, and it was such a hassle. But with Podpage, everything is built around podcasts, so there's much less time spent tweaking and fixing problems!

I needed a website about my podcast so I could have a place to send potential customers to purchase my merchandise. If you have a podcast or maybe you're starting a new podcast, you absolutely have to have a web presence. Podpage makes it so easy to do with solid designs, integrations, and so much more. The process for so much of it is "set it up once and then it automatically does what you need every week." No headaches. No hassle. The Podpage site even incorporates some functionality you didn't even KNOW you needed, such as an easy pop-up for listeners to subscribe to your mailing list. We rely on our Podpage site for so much of what we do on The Hawk and I can't imagine doing the show without it. It almost functions as an additional producer. We love it.
