The best software is the software that JUST WORKS. For the last 15 years of my life, I’ve gone to bed wondering what’s going to break in one of our many WordPress installs. Not the case with Podpage - and that’s the point. Don’t get me wrong, it’s amazingly cool, but it’s the combo of worry-free and amazingly cool that makes this so special.
Podpage is exactly what a podcaster needs. It makes adding new episodes, creating SEO value, and hosting your own content SO easy. I've been using Podpage for maybe 2 years now. There's no need for me to manually upload my podcast episodes because Podpage automatically posts them for me, making it low maintenance. All I have to do is update small things like photos and my merch links, which only take 5 minutes at most. I barely have to do anything. Everything is made simple and easy to handle. I have no complaints so far.

Sure - anyone can start a podcast because the start-up costs are low. But once you start, the expenses (and time) add up QUICKLY.

There's a lot that goes into producing a weekly podcast, IE: researching, scripting, recording, booking guests, reviewing, editing, creating content, promoting, writing podcast show notes and blog posts, etc...

I am a storyteller, not a webmaster, designer, or troubleshooter.
All I needed was a beautiful home for my podcast, with all its associated elements - video, transcripts, guest information, reviews, and more. This doesn't sound like such a big ask, but after going around in circles with plugins and pain for a while, it was such a relief to discover Podpage! I was able to spin up the perfect site in literally half an hour - just the right blend of templating and customisation, to bring my vision to life without any hassle. I love it, and receive lots of compliments on the appearance of the site, which always simply 'just works'. I wish I'd discovered it a year before I did! (But importing back episodes was definitely not a problem)

Podpage isn't just reliable, it's responsive
I was glad to find Podpage initially because I really appreciate how much work it automates for me, allowing pages to be automatically generated and providing a good structure for categorizing episodes, featuring guests, linking to our videos, and hosting transcripts. But what makes me very happy to stick with Podpage is how responsive they've been when I've had questions or concerns. I'm used to just having those sorts of things dismissed or directed to an FAQ that doesn't really help, but with Podpage, I get real responses.
