Challenges with Wix
Before Podpage, Jeff built his site with Wix. But the process was manual and time-consuming — especially for new episodes. Even with a drag-and-drop editor, achieving the functionality he wanted required coding knowledge.
Key features like SEO, mailing list capture, and user communication required expert setup and ongoing maintenance. As a solo creator, this was unsustainable.
