My name is James Schofield and I'm the creator of the stories in this podcast. What are they about?
For thirty years I've worked in different countries for different organisations and this has brought me into contact with interesting people with unusual stories to tell. A few years ago, I started retelling these stories for different publishers, and adding my own twist.
Recently I decided to turn these stories into a podcast. Sometimes a single story in an episode, sometimes a longer story spread over several episodes, but all of them are based on something I've experienced myself, or heard about from someone else.
So, that is what "Behind the Bottom Line" is about: the funny, sad and strange events and people that have amused, intrigued or puzzled me over the years. I hope you enjoy listening to their stories as much as I enjoyed writing them.
