I've only recently begun my journey into podcasting, and was just wrapping my head around everything involved. I've built a bunch of sites using other platforms and was looking at doing that again for my show. At first, I tried using WordPress to build a website for our podcast (Live Well and Flourish). Although I could do it, the work to maintain it was more than I had time to do. Then I discovered Podpage. It is simple to set up a great looking, easy to navigate website. After it's set up, everything is more or less on autopilot. The only time I do any maintenance is when Podpage rolls out a new feature that looks useful to me. Really, you can't go wrong with Podpage.

Podpage not only makes updating your site easy and mostly automated but includes enough design features to make your site a great visual representation of your show.

I was glad to find Podpage initially because I really appreciate how much work it automates for me, allowing pages to be automatically generated and providing a good structure for categorizing episodes, featuring guests, linking to our videos, and hosting transcripts. But what makes me very happy to stick with Podpage is how responsive they've been when I've had questions or concerns. I'm used to just having those sorts of things dismissed or directed to an FAQ that doesn't really help, but with Podpage, I get real responses. Podpage makes it trivially easy to set up a functional, clean-looking website for your podcast. The ability to customize social media images, and the automatic cross-posting to social media, is a time-saver. The automatic short URLs both help me keep track of episode numbers and save me valuable characters on services like Twitter/X.

Using Podpage makes keeping up with my podcast website an absolute breeze...no seriously. Once I linked it to my RSS feed, everything was automatically done. All the episodes upload without an issue including importing of show notes with no formatting issues.

My favorite feature so far has to be the process of getting guests onto the show. I can just send any potential guest a link to sign up and all their info is populated into the back-end of the website, ready for when the episode goes live. There is also an individual page per guest so that keeps everything clean.

Before Podpage came along to save me, we were really struggling to create a network website that looked professional without taking forever to build and maintain. I had struggled and dabbled with WordPress (and I'm sure for some folks it's perfect... but not for us).
