Podpage is a gamechanger for someone just starting out like me
I've only recently begun my journey into podcasting, and was just wrapping my head around everything involved. I've built a bunch of sites using other platforms and was looking at doing that again for my show. But then I found Podpage, and I honestly couldn't believe there was something that worked that intuitively, but made for podcasts.

It is great but it would be much better if there is an in person option to do some stuff that needs tech know how.
I am currently facing a DNS problem. Initially, I didn't even know what DNS stood for or why it was necessary. I want to direct my attention to my podcast and not spend time exploring various DNS providers just to secure a better website name.

That meant if you already knew who I was or were actively searching for my podcast, the information was out there, but being discovered by new listeners using a page nestled cozily inside another website was not happening.
As I started focusing on growing my podcast, it became clear that I needed a focused website specifically for Meditation Conversation. I chose Podpage because it was recommended by podcasters I trust. I have found Podpage is incredible for SEO, making my podcast much easier to find online. I find that when I search through Google for a guest I've had on and linked to my Podpage, my episode is often very close to the top of the results. I even had one guest who had been on ask me to remove her last name on her episode because she wanted to focus on a part of her business that was not related to the topic of our interview, and her searches on herself kept pulling that interview to the top - lol!
I also love that Podpage seamlessly pulls reviews from Apple, allows people to give their reviews directly on my site, and encourages people to sign up for my emails. I have had many people submit their email from Podpage, which makes it so much easier for me to connect back with my listeners. The way you can add the YouTube video, transcript, sponsors, and guest backlinks is so smart, easy, and powerful. I love my Meditation Conversation website, and it is super easy to maintain on my side.

Total Game Changer for Indie Podcasters
Before Podpage, I was trying to maintain a basic website with embedded links to players. As a one-person team, I found it impossible to keep up. That is until I discovered Podpage. I never write reviews, but Podpage is amazing and warrants one. The ease of use of this product is awesome. When you post an episode on your hosts site, all the data is automatically posted to your Podpage site.

The best way to develop a professional podcast website
At first, I tried using WordPress to build a website for our podcast (Live Well and Flourish). Although I could do it, the work to maintain it was more than I had time to do. Then I discovered Podpage. It is simple to set up a great looking, easy to navigate website. After it's set up, everything is more or less on autopilot. The only time I do any maintenance is when Podpage rolls out a new feature that looks useful to me. Really, you can't go wrong with Podpage.

Pro is well worth its $cost- saves you a huge amount of time
Podpage was something that we tried as a freebie, as I do with many free apps. After 'kicking the wheels,' we took the plunge and signed up for the Pro plan, and we're glad we did. There are so many moving parts in podcast production. Every time you need to toggle between applications or software is more time spent (wasted!). Podpage has streamlined our production immensely, so once the episode is done on our host, the website is taken care of. The automation of guest intakes is hugely helpful and replaces having to go back and forth via emails to set up interviews. The integration with Calendly also works great. All in all, I'd recommend Podpage to anyone looking to streamline their podcast production. Any problems I've had (mostly in training myself to use it) have been answered immediately through the chat box.

Let Podpage take the strain and take away the pain
I have spent 10 years with WordPress. Many positives, but one massive negative is that I spent more time managing WordPress than I did building my business. Best Podcast Decision Ever- game changer!!
I found Podpage at the 2023 Podfest Expo, and I couldn't believe it took me this long to find them. I transitioned my website right away, and it was an immediate relief. It looks clean and professional. It is incredibly easy to maintain. And, it has so many ways to drive new traffic and potential listeners to my podcast.
